Patrick's Journey to a Loving Home

Patrick Star, the pound pup, was hours from euthanasia when we were alerted to his situation.

Surrendered to the pound from a home with a number of other dogs, Patrick was at risk of being another animal surplus to the capacity of the council-run pound system.

The wonderful pound staff made themselves available to us, and we were able to hit the road, collecting Patrick along with his two housemates, Squidward and Sandy Cheeks, and deliver them into the waiting arms of our dedicated foster carers.

A Warm Embrace

Patrick's fate was sealed the moment he stepped over the threshold and into Julia's warm embrace. We take animals who have had a troubled or bleak beginning and show them the warmth and light of life with a person who values them wholeheartedly.

Julia's Care

Julia is Patrick's light, offering him a safe, secure space to develop, a calm and consistent voice of guidance, and a warm and gentle presence.

Celebrating Patrick's First Birthday

This week, Patrick turned ONE. He celebrated with his four-legged friends, destroyed a piñata, and took a trip on the ferry to Sorrento. Life is good. Patrick is home—a gift we strive to deliver for all of our dogs.
